Classical ballet solos with purpose, discipline and artistry.
Each dancer presents an individual ballet solo, showing technique, interpretation, musicality, expression and stage presence.
Classical repertoire, carefully chosen.
Solo performances should be selected from reputable, professional and well-known ballets. The chosen piece should suit the dancer’s level, show their strengths and allow them to perform with confidence and authenticity.
Suitable repertoire may include work inspired by iconic ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Coppélia, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, La Bayadère and Romeo and Juliet.
